Smile Bright Dental at 15323 Amberly Drive, Tampa, Florida.

I had an appointment today for the first time with the office on Amberly. I feel like I need to explain to people how bad their customer service is. I originally scheduled my appointment over the phone Monday morning. This was my first time paying using dental insurance and the woman I spoke to in the phone was rude and very short. I didn’t know certain things about my insurance so she told me to call back to provide the information later. She told me as well that she had set the appointment originally for 9 am.

Well I called back the next day to provide to the rest of my insurance information. I spoke to the same woman again. She remember who I was when I told her I just needed to finish providing my insurance information. Well low and behold she “couldn’t find” my appointment. (Needless to say she never actually booked it). She ended up rescheduling it for 10 am and sending me a text letting me know she changed the time. (With all these bad signs I still decided to give this office another chance)

Well I arrived at 930 am for my 10 o’clock appointment because I figured I was going to need to fill out paperwork before seeing the doctor. Well when I got to the office the building was empty and shabby. It had one of sketchy blinking “open” lights on the outside and the sign that said “ 99 dollar C-Ray and Cleaning for new clients” looked like it had been sitting out all day. The open light was on and the times posted on the door said “opened Monday-Friday from 8am-5”. Well it’s 930 and still no one was in office.

As I looked around the parking lot. The nurse was sitting in her car and she had the look of frustration on her face. After about 6 mins of additional waiting another gentleman with a briefcase arrived and tried to get in as well. He told me he was scheduled I work at this office today as well but he didn’t have a key to open the door. This gentleman was the very nice and well mannered. He was the only good interaction I had from Smile Bright.

At that point I was fed up. I told him I’m canceling my appointment and I left.

After all that I went home and I got a call from their office around 1030 asking if I was still coming and I told them no.
